With a week to go the Australia Day poster is starting to take shape. Bob gave us a brief to produce a letterpress poster with a goal to use traditional type and techniques as much as possible. With a combination of wood, lead and handset type the poster is set to the largest possible size to fit onto the 1960 Polygraph. The Polygraph was produced in Germany and many letterpress printers of their day swear buy the roller setup and the registration that these beautiful old letterpress cylinder presses could produce.
